The National Weather Service says it will be cool again today across the Richmond area, but the powerful winds of Tuesday are abating.
Today's forecast calls for partly sunny skies, an afternoon high near 38 degrees and winds of 8 mph or less.
Next up is a warming trend.
Thursday is to become gradually sunny with an afternoon high near 49 degrees, and Friday should be sunny with a high near 60.
Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday should be partly sunny, once again with a high near 60, and Sunday should bring a 30 percent chance of rain with a high near 53.
