Nutzy is heading to St. Louis to join the Rally Squirrel movement.
The Richmond Flying Squirrels' mascot will be in St. Louis on Wednesday for Game 6 of the World Series involving the Cardinals and Texas Rangers. St. Louis fans adopted the Rally Squirrel as their unofficial postseason mascot after a couple of squirrels appeared on the field during St. Louis' series against Philadelphia earlier in the playoffs.
Nutzy will not enter Busch Stadium. With a friend from Richmond, Nutzy will circulate on the streets of St. Louis and meet as many Rally Squirrel fans as possible. The friend will introduce Nutzy, who does not speak, and explain his presence.
Richmond's Double-A franchise is paying for the trip by Nutzy and friend.
