    After the storm, remember to:
    • Watch out for loose or dangling electric lines.
    • Beware of snakes and animals driven to higher ground.
    check your home for gas leaks electrical damage or problems with water supplies or sewerage.
    • For extended power outages, use dry ice.
    • If without power, unplug major appliances to prevent damage when power is restored.
    • Clean and disinfect everything that got wet.
