RPV’s reading rotation

For those of you with a burning interest in reading the federal health-care reform legislation, The Republican Party of Virginia will read it to you.

Chairman Pat Mullins has devised a plan starting tomorrow at 8 a.m. to have Virginians read all 2,400 pages of the bill, in what will most certainly contain periods of numbing bureaucratese. Volunteers will read in 30-minute shifts and anyone can listen in to the live steam on the RPV website: http://www.RPV.org/ReadTheBill

Mullins expects the reading to last more than 40 hours around the clock.

“That’s a pretty good illustration of just how massive this government health care takeover is,” he said in a news release.

The reading exercise comes around the same time as a RPV direct mail piece blasting the president and the massive health-care overhaul, and asking for cash.
