Virginia Dems, Kaine PAC Go with Big Mo

The Democratic Party of Virginia and Gov. Tim Kaine’s Moving Virginia Forward political action committee have hired communications guru Mo Elleithee to help spin them to the promised land leading up to Election Day in Virginia.
Elleithee, who runs his own consulting shop in Washington and repped Hillary Clinton in her 2008 presidential bid, recently crisscrossed the commonwealth as a top adviser to Democratic gubernatorial candidate and former DNC chair Terry McAuliffe. Now he’ll lend his expertise to pushing the Democratic agenda, polishing the Kaine legacy, and perhaps most importantly, getting Dems Creigh Deeds, Jody Wagner and Steve Shannon elected governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general, respectively. Then there’s also the matter of 100 House of Delegates seats—with a slim GOP majority—up for grabs.
Mo has been brought on in a senior advisory role to work with the PAC and the Party.
