Mark Warner’s mixed blessing

Mark Warner says he needs to cross another potential career off his list—early morning TV or radio host.

Warmer sounded like he was dragging a bit today as he made the talk show rounds in Denver ahead of his star turn Tuesday night as keynote speaker at the Democratic National Convention.

Warner, who can be, um, loquacious, also told Virginia reporters on a conference call that the Obama campaign has not tried to significantly change his 15-minute speech.

“This is really a Mark Warner speech,“ he said, adding: “That may be a mixed blessing.“
