This is a classic example of the excess and waste involved in the campaign business. If nothing else, these dire economic times should signal to all of us a need to curtail the perverse spending habits of these candidates. They should just get in a ring together and mud-wrestle. The proceeds such bouts would generate could be used to actually feed people, and it would be a lot more fun to watch than the ad nauseum ad campaigns on TV.
