White Thanksgiving at Snowshoe Mountain

Believe it or not, Snowshoe Mountain, one of the Mid-Atlantic’s most popular ski resorts, has already received 38 inches of snow. That’s not a misprint. The West Virginia resort already has six trails open for skiers and snowboarders.
Hopefully this is a sign that winter in this part of the country will be a little more robust than the snowless flameouts (in Richmond) of the past two years.
