Well, so much for that scenario

Carolina just finished off Florida State, keeping the Seminoles out of the NCAA tournament for the 10th consecutive season. At ACC preseason media day, charismatic FSU guard Isaiah Swann talked about how the Seminoles HAD to get to the NCAAs this year—no ifs, ands or buts about it. But as it turned out, Seminoles coach Leonard Hamilton was just as successful with that as his doppelganger, Bunny Colvin, was with his plan to legalize drug dealing in pockets of west Baltimore. And am I the only one still baffled that Hamilton got a contract extension before the season despite missing the tournament while having Al Thornton, one of the ACC’s best players, for four years?

Virginia Tech about to take the court. It’s about time. This is my third day here, and I’m finally going to cover a game of some consequence to my actual job. Gotta head courtside now. Late.
