Weekend Weather Sports Update

With the rain and clouds out of here after today, Friday night football should feature another excellent week for fans. Temperatures are expected to dip into the upper 60s under clear skies by kickoff. You’ll need a jacket or sweater before everything’s over.
When top-ranked James Madison and No. 5 Richmond take the field at UR Stadium on Saturday for their Colonial Athletic Association showdown, the temperature should be in the mid-70s under a sunny sky. You couldn’t ask for anything better than that in mid-October. It should mean a large crowd in the stands enjoying what has the makings of a super game.
Earlier that day, the University of Virginia plays host to East Carolina, and the Charlottesville forecast calls for a high of 76 degrees under a sunny sky. Bring plenty of sun screen because of the noon kickoff.
It will be a little cooler in Durham, N.H., where William and Mary takes on fourth-ranked and unbeaten New Hampshire in another CAA contest. The high should be in the mid-60s with clear skies.
Finally, the Redskins and St. Louis Rams will have temperatures in the mid-70s for their NFL matchup Sunday at FedEx Stadium, as Washington goes for its fifth straight win.
