Weekend Sports Weather Update

Unlike last weekend’s stormy weather in Virginia, the weekend outlook is pleasant and more fall-like. You’ll need a jacket or sweater for high school games, though, with temperatures dipping into the low 60s or upper 50s for tomorrow night’s games.
On Saturday, the weather continues to be nice, with temperatures in the mid-70s and plenty of sunshine in locations like Williamsburg, Lexington and Blacksburg for college football. The lone exception is Harrisonburg, where the James Madison Family Weekend crowd will find the temperature maxing out at 70.
Meanwhile, fans of the University of Virginia will have to bundle up because of the Saturday night meeting with Maryland in Charlottesville. Kickoff is 7 p.m. and temperatures are expected to dip into the low 60s or upper 50s before the game ends.
On Sunday, the Redskins are in Philadelphia to take on the Eagles, and the temperature should be in the mid-60s and the skies partly cloudy as Washington tries to improve to 4-1.
