VCU has gone trey happy, and so far it hasn’t hurt them too bad. I just don’t know how long they’ll be able to live and die with the long-distance shot.

Only four Rams have scored: Lance Kearse has 8, Jamal Shuler 8, Larry Sanders 4, and Kirill Pishchalnikov just put one in backward over his head. He also has 7 of VCU’s 17 boards ... in just seven minutes of action.

Overall, however, VCU is shooting just 35 percent from the floor.
