The Redskins - now eighth-best

The Redskins now share one thing in common with my fantasy team - they’re eighth-best and only six teams make the playoffs.
Unlike the exciting world of fake football, though, the Redskins have four games left, starting Sunday night in Baltimore. They’re trailing Carolina, Dallas, and Atlanta. The Panthers are 9-3, the Cowboys and Falcons are 8-4, the Redskins are 7-5. Any of these teams could still make the playoffs, although it’s tough to imagine any of them beating the Giants, who looked spectacular yesterday.
That sets the stage for a must-win game against the Ravens. We’ll have full coverage all week, starting with coach Jim Zorn’s press conference at 12:25 p.m. today. Video and a wrap-up will both be right here on this blog. Also check out the story from today’s game, as well as a Paul Woody column, right here.
