TD Olympics Blog: Good day, sunshine

A strange object hit Beijing Tuesday morning, an object unknown to most Olympic guests.
It was round. It tried to shine. It was in the sky, the white ceiling that covers this city of 16 million.
Wait, wait one darn minute.
It’s, it’s . . the sun!!!
It rose on the Olympic City today. By my count, it’s the first time in nine days that we can call it present and accounted for.
Next thing you know there won’t be any bumper-to-bumper traffic.
