Southside 5/30
Jill Erwin
May 30, 2008
Grand Stock heat races are over, and the front row will be Randy Adams and Robert Lipford for tonight’s 30-lap race. Not exactly the front row I would have predicted.
In Modifieds, Thomas Stinson not-so-surprisingly won the pole. He’ll start seventh after the inversion in the first of two 50-lap Modified races. The front row for the first race will be Eddie Moore, making his 2008 debut, and Mike Tomlin. The second race’s field will be set based on the finishing order of the first.

How many race tracks do you know that let NEW drivers go to the front to start? Well Southside did this to the Street Stock division on Friday.
I bet they wouldn’t try that with the BIG BOYS out there. It seems that the Street Stock division gets the short end of the stick on everything out there.
If I were one of those drivers, I would not have moved my car when they did that. You EARN where you start!
