Scenic Virginia, a non-profit organization dedicated “to the preservation, protection and enhancement of Virginia’s scenic beauty and community character,“ recently held its first statewide photo competition. The grand prize-winning photo (above) was taken on Assateague Island. To see the winners in a number of different categories click here. There are some amazing shots in the bunch.
