Redskins locker room update

The Redskins locker room just closed to the media - while it was open Jason Campbell told reporters that he took yesterday off to refocus for the stretch, and is trying to concern himself with what he sees on tape, as opposed to all the unpaid quarterbacks at home offering their own critique.

Linebacker London Fletcher told me he was unsure if he’d be able to practice this week, but does anticipate healing enough to play in the game Sunday. Cornernback Shawn Springs said he would play through his calf injury, though he doesn’t expect it to fully heal until after the season.

Meanwhile the offensive linemen dismissed the concern that coach Jim Zorn has somehow been “found out” after coaching several games. Pete Kendall said that the offense is just the West Coast offense, so there was never anything elaborate to figure out in the first place - the team has just run into several strong defenses in a row.
