Know how I know it’s race week? I never see my house, my roommate, my roommate’s dog, or, really, the inside of my eyelids. But it’s all worth it, because night racing at Richmond is one of my favorite parts of this job.

I’m sitting here in the office working on not only my story for tomorrow about Fox’s chief spotter Kevin Clark, who is from Lynchburg, but also starting to compile all the great memories you guys submitted. I sincerely thank each of you for sharing a bit of your life with me, and by extension, the readers. I think it’s going to come out pretty well.

Other than that, we have got a TON of stuff coming up for this weekend. So stay tuned online (we’ll have some multimedia stuff) and pick up The Times-Dispatch. We are your source for Lipton Tea 250 and Dan Lowry 400 information!
