Portis, Betts and the Redskins running game

A big day today for Redskins fans, as we’ll find out a little bit more about the status of the team’s running backs heading into Sunday’s game against the Cowboys.
It looks like Ladell Betts will practice with the team this week, while Clinton Portis will not. That doesn’t mean that one will play Sunday and the other won’t, but it’s an indication of where things are heading. Portis has, of course, not practiced and then gone off for 100+ yard games many times during his career.
