As promised, here are a couple of pics of the new state record blue catfish—102 pounds, 4 ounces—caught in the James yesterday by Tim Wilson (right) and Danny Ayers. Based on the belly, which looks to be full of eggs, DGIF biologist Bob Greenlee said he thinks the fish is a pre-spawn female.
