I know a bunch of you on the chat today were curious about the set-up for ESPN’s “GameDay” on Sept. 1 and the time of that day’s game against East Carolina.

I e-mailed a little while ago with Sport Information Czar Bryan Johnston, who said that the first part of the show will be done at the soccer/lacrosse practice area acrosse from Lane. There also will be a stage in Lane for part of the show.

He said—or wrote, actually—that he hadn’t heard anything about a potential time change for the game. He hasn’t heard any mention of it, but that’s not to say it won’t happen, he said. He’ll put out a release if the game time changes.
