No Virginia Tech players file paperwork to leave early

No Virginia Tech football players have filed paperwork with the NFL committee that advises underclassmen on where they might be selected in next spring’s draft, according to John Ballein, Tech’s director of football operations.
This is always at least a semi-noteworthy storyline this time of year. Last year, two juniors, free safety Kam Chancellor and offensive guard Sergio Render, filed paperwork with the committee but decided to return to school. Both figure to be among the Hokies’ draft picks next spring.
Not exactly surprising news out of Blacksburg.
