CHARLOTTESVILLE—Under the policy adopted by the ACC this year, every school issues two injury reports each week during football season: one on Monday and the other on Thursday.
The Monday report is meant to focus on players who have had or will have surgery and will miss the next game. U.Va.‘s report, released tonight, includes two names: linebacker Aaron Clark and defensive end Zane Parr.
Clark, a senior who plans to take a medical redshirt this year, suffered a season-ending knee injury (torn ACL) in the Aug. 30 opener against Southern California. He has had reconstructive surgery.
Parr, a redshirt freshman from Williamsport, Pa., will have surgery to repair meniscus in his knee and is out indefinitely. He missed the Georgia Tech game in Atlanta on Saturday because of the injury.
Parr, a reserve, has made two tackles this season.
