JMU vs. Richmond football update

The University of Richmond scored on its opening possession and added another touchdown early in the second quarter to take a 14-13 halftime lead over the top-ranked Dukes before a large turnout today at UR Stadium.
UR quarterback Eric Ward completed 9 of his first 10 passes to move the Spiders down the field, where they scored on short runs by Josh Vaughan and John Crone.
JMU scored on an 8-yard TD pass from Rodney Landers to tight end Mike Caussin, while Jason Pritchard and Dave Stannard added field goals. Landers was held to 6 yards rushing on five carries.
