Former Hermitage High and University of Richmond running back Josh Vaughan signed this week with the Jacksonville Jaguars and placed on their practice squad.
The 6-1, 235-pound Vaughan signed with Tampa Bay as an un-drafted rookie free agent after helping UR to the 2008 FCS title. Vaughan, 23, rushed for 1,884 yards and 20 touchdowns on 355 carries (average 5.3 yards per carry) as a senior. He signed with the Jaguars in August after being released by the Bucs, then was released by the Jaguars.
