It’s halftime, and it doesn’t look good for the Rams

Eric Maynor is 1 for 7, and has three turnovers. The Rams had one field goal (Maynor’s) in the final 6:38 of the first half. They’ve had nine turnovers to UAB’s one.
That is how a 25-18 lead becomes a 38-27 halftime deficit.
There are bright spots. Jamal Shuler, Kirill Pishchalnikov and Lance Kearse have played well. Um…yeah, that’s about it for the bright spots.
UAB is shooting 48.4 percent from the floor. They’ve had eight players scored (Reggie Huffman has 12 points to pace them), and their assist-to-turnover ratio is 12-1.
VCU better figure out how to stop the bleeding…and soon. Tim Pearrell said he’s never seen a team take the Rams apart like this at home.
This had better be one heck of a good halftime speech by Anthony Grant.
