Denny’s dumping his “slow stuff”
Jill Erwin
Mar 14, 2008

Always looking for a promotion, FedEx is building off hometown favorite Denny Hamlin’s commercials about how he does everything fast. So FedEx has started a weekly auction on eBay for things that supposedly hold Denny back.

They’re all tongue-in-cheek items (today’s is a manual lawnmower), but each item also comes with a die-cast car autographed by Hamlin.

Absolute positive: All proceeds go to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Hamlin has been involved with children’s charities, including several visits to the Children’s Hospital of Richmond.
