Bill Roth was kind enough to invite me on “Hokie Hotline” tonight. I mentioned an interesting stat on there that I got from Noted ACC Bard David Teel of the Newport News Daily Press. I said the ACC was the first league in Division I history to have a champion with three league losses. Crazy, huh?
Yeah, so crazy that it’s not true. This is what I meant to say: The ACC is the first conference in Division I history in which every team finished the season with at least three league losses—which is also pretty crazy, especially because it’s accurate.
Sorry about that. I get kind of flustered on live radio. Not used to it at all. Guess I should stick to my day job of hacking. Thanks for indulging the slip-up, gang.

Your excessive wining on the Hokie Hotline about media access (this week) had me actually yelling at the radio for you to be creative and seek out alternate stories other than player interviews. There has to be something else interesting you can dig up about this rivalry game to intrest us readers.

I would like to applaud your comments on the Hokie Hotline last night. You are about the only one I can remember trying to take the coaches to task. All the coaches want to do is make excuses and blame the players for everything that happens. They should be offering up solutions and improvements, but I have seen none to date.

Listened to Hokie Hot Line last night in the forlorn hope of hearing something interesting with all the controversy swirling around the offense lately, coach Foster HC opportunities, UVA etc. I have to give you credit you tried and were the only interesting part of the show. Really sorry about the press access being so limited. I think CFB has had a pretty easy ride for quite a while with regard to the media and may not be handling the current state of fan unrest with the O very well. Hope your opinion of the ACC is proved wrong in the bowls but that question will certainly answer itself either way!
