A busy day

NASCAR still isn’t talking about what their double-secret probation really means. It’s a joke. “We know what it is, Tony and Kurt know what it is, but none of you know so you can’t call us on any of it.“
Fantastic. Thanks NASCAR.
Then, today, engines started stinking all over the garage. Every car running a Hendrick engine was in danger, though only the four Hendrick drivers and Scott Riggs actually changed their engines. The others are going to try to keep the engine despite only changing the lifter (the malfunctioning part) and see if they can make it work. Four Toyotas, including Denny Hamlin, will also move to the back of the field for tomorrow’s Duels. That won’t matter to many, since Tony Stewart and Hamlin are both already locked into the Daytona 500. But it makes things a little tougher for A.J. Allmendinger and Dale Jarrett who will now have to get through the field to race into the 500.
Just another day in Daytona, between fights, Dale Jr. winning, Michael Waltrip on the front row for the 500, probation and the engines….what’s coming next?
Stay tuned.
