8:10 p.m.—We have a green flag, and a yellow one

The race started just moments ago. Because somebody at the back of the pack spun before the leaders got to the backstretch, we had a caution flag. Maybe my prediction of 6 or fewer cautions won’t hold up.
We just went back under green. And back under caution. Another spin, this one into the wall. So 9 laps, 2 cautions. Not a full lap under green yet. Hmmmm.
You guys watching this race on TV?
By the way, the crowd looks pretty decent. Late-arriving, but not bad. Maybe not 60,000, but I’d guess close to 50,000. We’ll see what the “official” count is.
