Plenty of Richmonders will be rooting for the hometown guy come Grammy night, but based on one online betting site, Jason Mraz is a bit of a longshot to win Song of the Year.

Sportsbook.com, where you can literally bet on anything from whether this year’s “American Idol” winner will be male or female to who will win the Republican and Democratic presidential nominations in the 2012 (!!) race, has Mraz’s “I’m Yours” pegged as the longshot at +600.

The favored tune is Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” with odds at +150 (and yes, gambling novices, the lowest number is the favorite).

Adele’s “Chasing Pavements” is somewhat surprisingly the second favored at +250, followed by Sara Bareilles’ “Love Song” (+300) and Estelle’s “American Boy” (+500).

Hey, plenty of people thought Elliott Yamin was a huge longshot to get anywhere on “American Idol” and that turned out OK.
