Claudette Yamin died a few hours ago. The family has asked for privacy, which we will respect.
She was a wonderful woman whom many in the T-D newsroom got to know during Elliott’s ascension. We will miss her spirit.

Dear Elliott and Family-Claudette was such a bright fixture at
all the Idol shows and so supportive-what a loss for all of you. We also enjoyed you at the Idol Tour at Honda Center in
Anaheim and in LA at Staples. You were our favorite as well as
Claudette’s favorite.
God rest her beautiful soul.

Claudette was a wonderful spirit, she will be greatly missed. She was so proud of all her children, but especially that Elliott had found his niche in life finally. A great lady.
