Hey kids, good news. The first show of the season has been announced at the Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphitheater and it’s a pretty solid one – the return of No Doubt, along with Paramore and The Sounds.

The gang pulls in for a June 10 date. Tickets are on sale March 7 at 11 a.m.

Prices haven’t been announced yet on the livenation.com Web site – the exclusive outlet to purchase online – but guess what? You can plunk down an additional $15 PER SHOW to get the “best seats in the house” via the band’s new “Tour Club.”

A special presale begins at 4 p.m. Feb. 26 and runs through March 1. If you visit nodoubttourclub.musictoday.com, you can get all of the gory details, including all of the perks this membership will bring.

I mean, wow, not only will you receive an exclusive “Tour Club” magnet, but also an exclusive “Tour Club” iron-on! What, no lunch box?

The sole good thing about all of this nonsense is that these tickets can only be picked up the night of the show, and concertgoers’ ID must match the name from the “Tour Club” membership.

So, basically, instead of the scalpers getting your money, you’ll be giving Gwen and the boys an extra 15 bucks a pop for the privilege of being sweated on. To some of you, that’s probably worthwhile.

But something tells me that by the time the end of May rolls around, we’ll be seeing a lot of $10 lawn ticket offers.

Those not drinking the fan club Kool-Aid can also purchase tix – beginning March 11 – at the VBA box office, by calling (877) 598-8698 or at most Blockbuster stores.
