Elliott sings for the Nats

We didn’t mean for our first blog posts to all be somehow related to “American Idol,“ but it’s a popular show and its spawn lives on. What can you do?

Besides, Elliott Yamin fans are a rabid bunch, so they’ll want to know that he’s been tapped to sing “God Bless America” at the Nationals’ opening day in the new Nationals Park.

Also expected at Sunday’s festivities? The Budweiser Clydesdales. Oh yeah, and President Bush.
