Richmond woman, 51, shot to death
“Some type of altercation was the motive for the shooting,” Ladin said. Dantzler died from her wounds shortly after being taken to VCU Medical Center. “She had problems, but she was a good person,” said Alicia Rasin, founder of Citizens Against Crime and a spokeswoman for Dantzler’s family. Dantzler’s mother, Dorothy Bradby, said she prays “that the person who did this [will] be apprehended as soon as possible,” Rasin said. Dantzler Dantzler is survived by a 31-year-old daughter and a 9-year-old son. She was most recently employed in housekeeping at a Doubletree Hotel. Police had made no arrests as of Saturday evening. They are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call a tip line at (804) 514-8477 or Crimestoppers at (804) 780-1000. |
