Henrico man faces murder charge
A man arrested Monday in a double shooting in Glen Allen was charged with first-degree murder yesterday after one of the two victims died. Thomas was arrested by a state trooper on Interstate 95 within 20 minutes of the 1:27 p.m. shooting at the Hope Village Apartments at 1616 Hope Road. Officers responding to the call found two men with multiple gunshot wounds lying in the first-floor commons area of one of the apartment buildings. Morris died Monday at VCU Medical Center. Thomas initially was charged with two counts of aggravated malicious wounding, two counts of felony use of a firearm and one count of possession of a fire arm by a felon. |
